Forum for a New Generation of Arab Sociologists ( Amman and Petra, 20-26 July 2008)

This forum was co-organized with  Arab Association of Sociology and included twenty student participants and ten professors representing six countries: Jordan, Palestine, Lebanon, Tunisia, Egypt and Algeria (MENA). During the forum the students presented research proposals in several academic disciplines. This was followed by discussion about the proposals and resulted in some changing their research entirely.  Others improved upon their proposal. This was the intention and benefit of participation in the forum.
